A Project by the JTTI Class of 2015
Visitjambiani.com was created by the Jambiani Tourism Training Institute Diploma Class of 2015. These 13 students selected the target market, created questionnaires, conducted field research and interviews, wrote the content, designed the logo, and helped create the web pages of visitjambiani.com as part of their Destination Marketing, Destination Management and Web Design courses. The Jambiani Tourism Training Institute (JTTI) is part of the Hands Across Borders Society, which is an NGO operating on Zanzibar. JTTI offers students a free education in Tourism Management to help them gain employment or open businesses within the tourism industry in Zanzibar. To learn more about JTTI, click here.

A volunteer teacher, Kenn Scott, taught the Destination Marketing, Destination Management, and Web Design class and helped the students design this website. If you are an accommodation provider, restaurant owner, or run an activity and need any changes made to this website, please contact the student who interviewed you and gathered the information. If you are unable to contact the student, you can contact Kenn here.
Special thanks to Maaike Bergsma, another volunteer teacher, who raised money at Stenden University where she teaches in Holland to allow our students to have internet access. Maaike also helped many of the students revise and edit their content for this site.
